Do you think it's wrong for me to like the song "Running with the Devil!
Question: It's obvious that David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen and the rest of the crew are seeking attention. But I will admit the song has a great beat even though I dislike the lyrics. Van Halen is a decent band overall I guess. I'm just religious and I'm against anything that associates with the "devil". I just hope people see where I'm coming from this. PLEASE READ THIS WITH AN OPEN MIND. Dude, if you acknowledge Christ, then you have to do so with the devil; it's Yin and Yang. You don't have to accept the devil, obviously. If your faith is that precipitous that the mere mention of Satan intimidates you, you had better check yourself. It's like anything else in this world; just because it's bad or evil doesn't mean you're going to succumb just by thinking or talking about it. Life in all it's glory contains All; the good and the bad. You have been given the mind to choose, and it sounds as though you have. My suggestion? Believe more in yourself and you'll find an extra boost from whom you seek. The Boys were just dredging up an old saying for the sake of their song. Enjoy the music. Really.
