Can you reccomend me an Electric Guitar?!

Question: Budget for Guitar only: 200 squid / $400
Budget for Amp: 60 squid / $120
Buget for Other (e.g electric tuner ): 60 squid

Preferably
- Online
- UK based
- Not Mass Produced
- Not Patronising Yamaha/ Beginner's guitar
- Has an interesting background/ Backstory.
- Mail Delivered (live in south UK)

This would be my first guitar. Wanna sound like The Stooges or Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols. Going to teach myself. Relevant websites also appreciated. I will personally give one hug/kiss (if u can find me) to the person with the best answer.

Well at least you've got the snotty nosed punk attitude sorted......
What the hell kind of guitar are you expecting for 200 quid that isn't some mass-market, made in Vietnam effort? Plenty of guitarists whose boots you are not fit to lick started out with some crappy "beginners axe".
If you have a shred of talent to support your mouth, a "patronising" Yamaha Pacifica, Squier Tele or Epi Les Paul will more than suffice until you get your first gold disc!

Yamaha beginners guitars really aren't patronising, it's quite the opposite. Some great guitarists use the Yamaha Pacifica e.g. Mike Stern, Michael Lee Firkins. It's not a bad guitar at all. In fact it's pretty good and is respected well by a lot of people. Don't hesitate to get one, it's extremely good value for money. They can go for as little as £99, but that's mainly because they've been out so long and so many sensible people buy them.

Also, I don't mean to sound patronising or rude, but with that attitude, you will not make a good guitarist. I like that kind of music too, but it's not big these days and you wouldn't really get anywhere with it. If you do want to form a band that is.
If you're gonna take that approach, I would prefer you didn't get a guitar, but of course that's just my opinion.

I would hope it wasn't you that gave the thumbs down. Not that I care much, but you don't seem like the person to make that judgement on this subject. That kind of attitude is a parasite to music.

I would recommend an Epiphone dot which is their version of the Gibson 335. It is versatile for blues/rock/country or jazz and they retail for about $300 US. It will sound best through an all tube amplifier so you probably want a used fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Good chromatic tuners are down to $25-$30 US.
