I love Nightwish, I know most of their previous work but I haven't heard all of Dark Passion Play yet, I've only heard Bye bye Beautiful and Amaranth. I do like Amaranth a lot but I think i need to check out the rest of the album
I just discovered them yesterday because of the song "Amaranth" which I love. I will be purchasing the Album shortly.
I don't care for the newer stuff, to be honest. I have Angels Fall First & Wishmaster, but I don't think I still have anything more recent.
You may be interested to know, though, that Tarja Turounen (sp?) released her 1st solo CD today, after leaving Nightwish nearly 2 yrs ago.

My only real knowledge of Nightwish is guitarists Emppu Vuorinen side project Brother Firetribe.... incredible heavy AOR with the awesome Pekka Heino (also of Leverage) on vocals.

I like Pharoah Sails to Orion off the Oceanborn album.
