If the helicoptor intro you are referring to is the music not the video, it was French Canadian Aldo Nova's Fantasy - and ya, the moog synthesizer was kinda cheesy.
maybe Def Leppard - GODS OF WAR. it's not intro, but outro though, but I don't remember any other 80's rock song with helicopter's sound.
