What's the best way to remove bitterness from seeing gay bands like MCR?!
Question: I like metal and hard rock so I just can't stand people talking about this gay band. I'm a bit sensitive so I can't just ignore them. What should I do to get rid of this bitterness and ignore them? And for the info, I've heard their songs and they suck.

I get so tired of hearing people talking about MCR. What I do is first is walk to the old Pioneer stereo I bought at a second hand store throw in South of Heaven (Slayer) to destroy the thought that I had actually even heard MCR.then toss in Black Star (Yngwie Malmsteen) to mellow out a liitte bit before I grab the dork's Ipod shuffle and stomp into the ground while singing Burn In Hell (Twisted Sister). If there was any bitterness left I'd toss in a live version of Creeping Death (Metallica) so I could sing the word "DIE" for six minutes with 40,000 plus fans hoping this would put me in a trance or demonic possessed state that would make me forget that crap!!

Are you serious? This is actually plaguing you? You tell them you don't like My Chemical Romance and you deal with it. Drop it, it's not a big deal, oh and FYI, MCR never sucked, never will.

just ignore them, don't take it too seriously or you might become one of them in the end. if you really listen to metal and hard rock, you should be hard as your music. THEY ARE SENSITIVE!
As with every single band out there, they are an acquired taste.
And obviously, as with every other band, they have fans and they have haters.
Just let them be, and stop being immature.

Just ignore any questions about them. Up until yesterday, after seeing so many questions about them, but never having heard them, I checked them out on You Tube. They suck, plain & simple, but I'm not gonna let the questions bother me. From what I watched, they probably won't be around for long anyway. Just put them in the Jonas Brothers & Hannah Montana category, here today, gone tomorrow. Us REAL rock fans know who the "keepers" are.
First off, try growing up a little. And I'm not talking age, I'm talking maturity.
Secondly, if it really bothers you that much, sounds like you've got deep-set, crippling self-esteem issues that you should work on.
Third, don't be jealous that the metal and hard rock bands you enjoy aren't popular. Just enjoy the music you enjoy, don't listen to the music you don't, and let others do the same.
Getting a life would be a good start!

just ignore the band if you don't like them. simple............ i hate panic at the disco, Marilyn manson, boys like girls, fob, kid rock, etc, slip knot, but you don't see me asking or answering questions on them.
Um, don't use "gay" as in insult. I know gay people who would gladly kick MCR's sorry a.ss.
And for how to stop being bitter, turn on some REAL MUSIC, REAL LOUD so that everyone can hear it. Everyone.
