cuttin is an art and the style of cut really depends on the situtaion for example...
when worshipping the all mighty gerard : cut in 'g' shapes
when sad: cut in x's
when lookin 4 attention: use a piece of paper 2 cut with
when performing a cult ceremony: 1 clean cut straight acrossed works best

I know when I do it, I enjoy Bohemian Rhapsody. Not only does the cutting never seem to stop, but as a word-y type of guy there is some really nifty words to spell.

Cutting yourself is just attention seeking or for people who genuinely are depressed to the EXTREME not just people who say they are as a fashion accessory. You must be mentally disturbed if you want to cut lyrics into ur arm

i dont carve lyrics into my skin, but a good rule to remember is "across the street not down the lane."
im pretty sure a vertical slash would kill you.

Like the wonderful music Gerard creates, the least we could do as "fans" would be to embrace creativity with creativity. Now this is purely hypothetical since I love myself too much to be slicing and dicing my own person. I would think a pretty artistic pattern of sorts would be the ultimate declaration of a true fan (and believer).
I'd go with something very deep and meaningful, like Vampires Will Never Hurt You. With all the trials and tribulations of real life, I can't tell you how much comfort this very important piece of knowledge provides me with. Guess I can reschedule that all-expense paid vacation to Transylvania.

But "x"s are ok but honestly i know of no one who carves song lyrics in, plus if later on you decide you hate the lyrics it's kind of like a tatoo and it doesn't go away, and even if you think your going to live by the lyrics I wouldn't - you'll thank yourself later

They probably do the simple slashes. They should hire me to cut them- I would carve the Slayer logo in each arm (see "Undisputed Attitude" CD for example). Maybe then they will grow some muscial taste!

I use MCR lyrics in general. My right arm is filled with them! "gErArd iS mY sAviOR" is carved into my left arm too!

"Cutting" IS Serious, and shame on all of you for making fun of ppl that are hurting and must resort to such lengths to cope with such in their life.

although cutting is not the answer id have to say go for lyrics wen really dpressed x's when u h8 life and straight lines if u dont want people to notice ur cuts... lyrics and x's r kinda obvious
