Some questions about playing guitar?!

Question: 1) Am I good enough to get my first guitar? The one I'm playing is borrowed?

2) Should I get a squier or would it be worth it to get a real fender?

awwwwwwww your so cute! lol. yep, you're pretty good. like you said on there, a little choppy. i think you should get the fender because there are some cheaper versions that are still really good. You should get the SG, that is a sexy beast of a guitar

1) Everyone deserves their own guitar, whether they're just starting out or they're Eric Clapton.

2) The type of guitar you get depends on your level of commitment to playing. If you're committed and know that you'll play for a long time, get the real, American made Strat. The get yourself a Les Paul, then a Telecaster, and so on. If you're planning on being famous, remember that people will alway sask you about your first guitar. Do you want to tell them it was a Squier?

depends how passionate you are

i'd start out with a squier since you seem like you need to start out with a beginner guitar first and stick with that for a year or two and if you're still interested, you should get a real fender

Your good bro. I've been playing for about 6 months and have a Squier but I Squiers are really for beginners and your not really a beginner. I wouldn't recommend getting a real expensive Fender. Maybe something thats like $200-$300 for someone of your skill level(kinda in between beginner and medium). Is that your amp? If thats borrowed too you might want to get an amp too, get one that has distortion effects and all that good stuff, it makes songs sound so much better.

heyy its a good start, but if i were you i would improve playign rhythm before movign to lead.Anways yeah if u have enough money and everything go ahead and buy your own electric and amp.I have a squier its ok actually its good. Its realy for starting guitarists. So yeah you should og ahead and get the squier and its cheaper.Unless you have enough to spare go ahead and get a real fender.

Allright K-dog , i don't do much youtube (i'm still on dial-up , so...). "Good Enough" has nothing to do with first guitars , maybe the 2nd , 3rd , etc. My point , time will tell. Get whatever you can get at the moment. HOWEVER - if you have the ability and capital (cash $$ i mean), then get the best you can get. If you're really into it and have the cash , why look for cheap gear?! Sure , myself and others started out on cheap-o guitars , then graduated to better gear - but there IS the exceptions. Plus , better equipment = better sound and playability = better inspiration = faster learning = well....you get the picture....

Who's gonna stop you from getting your own guitar? Besides, you're pretty good.

Get a Fender.
