Question: It appears that Randy R, Rotten R alias Princess B is not going to stop the nonsense so it may be time to pack it up and let these jerks have what it is that they want. I am giving it some very serious thinking as it seems to me the folks at Yahoo could give a rats *** anyway. What do you all think of this? Is it time to fold the old tent?Folks it just ain't fun anymore and it's one thing after the other and the pay as we all know is lousy. So please post your thoughts

I will continue using Y/A, but will no longer click on questions by Randy R, etc. I think I have finally managed to block all of those user IDs, but will use the info Kathleen posted to double check. (Thank you, Kathleen!)
I know that reporting a person repeatedly can be seen as targeting them, but I don't think it should be seen as targeting if the person being reported is violating rules. When multiple IDs are involved, it might be helpful for people to report just 1 or 2 questions by each ID, and recommend that Y/A look into those profiles to see the repeated questions, and the frequency of repitition (in this case, several times per hour).
Also--Recently, there was another person using multiple IDs, to get more points. I don't think I've seen any of those IDs in the last couple of weeks, either because Y/A terminated the accounts due to multiple reports, or because the person just decided to give up. I don't know how long it took for that to happen, though.
Hopefully, Y/A will terminate the Randy R accounts soon, or Randy R. will give up. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't look like he/she will give up anytime soon.

I don't know what to tell you Tommy other than I just spent a considerable amount of time reporting each ID along with sending an image of their board flooding for verification. I do know that reporting them continuously marks you, the reproter, as someone who is targting an individual and are subject to having your account suspended also.
I took the advice of Lou, on of the forum moderators and reported one question for each ID and submitted teh other ID's in the additional details. I was also told to send a letter to the answer team including all pertinent information.
I did that just a few minutes ago.
If anyone wants to follow the same format, I am willing to post the content of my report here for you to follow.
All I did was open one question that was a repeat question for each ID and report it with the same language I used in my email report. You can do the same by opening each ID link, open the question history, find a question that is repetitive and report it once. They are backlogged right now and it may take a day or two to have it resolved bu the little booger is so incredibly relentless that they may just open another ten accounts and continue.
Personally, I have limited my use of the site; the joy is fading when my time is spent being a watchdog instead of participating but I doubt that i will cease using it altogether.

PLEASE review the history of the profile links I am providing you. This person has created approximately 9 accounts in order to flood the country category with the same repetitive questions over and over. This has been going on for a month or more. We have tried politely and at times, not so politely to ask them to cease. They have told us they do not care and that they will post the same question over and over until they get what they want.
What they want is every possible way they can find to steal and download music for free. Many people have made suggestions but he won't quit. I am at my wits end.
I am begging of you to please, at the very least, take a look at the profiles given and review their question index for verification that I am not over reacting to the situation.

I hung it up a long time ago Tommy. I just drop in from time to time to post a question or two. As far as i,m concerned he can have it. Doesn't bother me none. I,m sure someday he'll get tired and move on. Besides the fun was taken out of this place a long long time ago. It's never been the same. Good luck to ya if you decide to leave. It's them and the others we know about that have ruined this place for alot of us...You know its the reason there aint hardly anybody here anymore...Most of us have gotten tired of all the garbage comin' from people like him and we just can't take all the ts and cu questions anymore either...Since I aint here that much anymore, as far as I'm concerned they can suspend my account--I'll come right back and ya'll will know its me...but i'm still gonna report that little bastard every time he puts a question up!!! Y/A can't keep ignoring all the complaints about that **** and sooner or later they're gonna have to look into the matter...
keep havin' the faith and don't leave yet, aint nobody completely given on y/a just yet, that's why most of us still post a question every now and then...

Oh I know. He is just trying to be annoying and he is successful. he doesn't really want an answer. Now he is asking for instructions on how to use Rhapsody.com. He says he is in Canada and that Canadians are not allowed to use Rhapsody. I have reported their accounts and account history. Other than that, I don't know.
I'm new here but I've noticed this very quickly. I don't click their questions, and I don't care if they're asking great questions about my favorite singers. That's the best way to get them to stop, don't answer. That requires everybody's assistance.
If Yahoo answers won't do anything, maybe the RIAA will.
BTW, I love Tommy Collins. I got to meet him at the Opry in 1998.

These clowns are floating all thru the Y/A forums,I've seen people that ask the same question 5-10-15 times and it is nonesense.

I agree with you and all the others they are very annoying therefore I ignore them I dont answer their questions or even pay attention to them. I think its sad for them to run off the people who have real questions or come on her to see the trivia ?'s I really enjoy this site.
