Question: Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson?
Merle Haggard had a hit with a song he wrote with the same title: "I Can't Hold Myself In Line".
A few years later, wasn't it Merle And Willie that recut the tune and sang it as a duo?
Maybe that was Merle Haggard and Ray Charles....but then, Ray Charles wasn't really known as a country music great, either; though he did some great covers of some all time classic country music songs in his long career!
