Question: Haha I'd say leave Buckethead off until you learn how to play a little better. Buckethead is truly a master guitarist and you'll be a bit frustrated if you try to actually play like he does. Also, he uses a lot of special effects such as the killswitch (used in Jordan) that many people don't have access to.
Start out with something simpler such as Green Day. They are known for having very simple guitar parts while also sounding very cool and many people will recognize them.
