Oh crud, that is suckish! Well, I've done that before, and to keep my mind off everything and all the havoc that will be guarenteed to happen is take a deep breath before you are up. Act as confident as possible. Smile at the audience, and just act like you're singing in your bedroom. Can't make eye
contact? Focus on a person in the room, or a spot on the wall that's equal and level with the audience. Look at your friend
or focus on an aisle or something that will make it seem like you ARE looking at the audience. DONT look at the ground or window. Just relax, focus, and smile big! It'll be over before you know it. AND MAKE SURE YOU ACT CONFIDENT!!
Confidence is key! Good Luck!

think about the person u like or something u like it helps me cuz it takes ur mind off what u r doing

There's nothign much you can do really.
Practice in front of a mirror, maybe your family and a few people.
When you're singing, you can then keep the image of being in a mirror or with people you love listening. They wan tto hear you sing, and you'll do great.

Just sing and pretend they aren't there. If that doesn't work, just pretend everyone IS singing with you.

Don't worry, when you walk on stage, you're probably gonna feel like you're gonna faint. It was the same with me too, (I had to sing in front of 600 people) but if you just get into the song, and get the warm feeling of when you sing with the rest of the choir, you'll be fine. Trust me, it's a lot easier to sing in front of hundreds of people than only a few people.

Break a leg (:
( Not literally.. hehe )
