How am I suppose to audition for a record company?!
Question: Ok, well, I know I can sing, and I am not shy about it. I am always jumping around and singing and dancing on front of my friends. Being a famous singer has ALWAYS been my dream. And now I have realized that if I want it to come true, I have to make it come true. But, I am only 12 years old, turning 13 in July, and I wanted to know what the chances are for a record company taking me in at such a young age. Does age matter in the record buisness? And also, I wanted to know how to audition. Like, do you send an audition tape of you singing songs and whatever, or what do you do? My idol is Miley Cyrus, and I know that she started to audition for different things when she was my age. Please please help me this has always been my dream and I would do anything for it to come true!

JUST make music myspace and youtube and put your name out there
and try to make it if you do we can hang haha cuz i wanna make it too
sing a lot, start a band, record yourself, make a music myspace, promote yourself EVERYWHERE. wait a little while, but let yourself be heard, on myspace and youtube. and maybe if you are good, some one will make something happen. just let yourself be heard

Go to a radio station/record company
see if they like it
First of all Miley Cirus Shouldnt be your singing idol. She only got signed because of her rich famous daddy. Get real there!
