Check out the CD by Duke Ellington Piano In The Fore Ground. This is a trio album with Duke on piano Aaron Bell on Bass and Sam Woodyard on drums tunes include Summertime Cong-Go Springtime In Africa,Body and Soul. Great piano music fro the Duke. There is also another trio album with Duke Ellington piano Charles Mingus Bass and Max Roach drums.Duke did a quartet album for Pablo records in 1974 with Ray Brown Bass, Joe Pass guitar, Louis Bellson drums. This CD has more Ellington compositions such as Cottontail,Prelude To A Kiss,Everything But You, Just Squeeze Me . Check them all out because they are revelations as to what Duke Ellington could do with a trio or quartet setting. All Good.

Solitude (or My Solitude) is one of the finest song ever written. There are many versions of the song. I have one where he plays alone, it is absolutely great.
