Is it fair to say that Sean Combs killed hip hop by making it too accessible?!

Question: Yeah, I guess you could say that. He made hip-hop look like bullshit.

Answers: Yeah, I guess you could say that. He made hip-hop look like bullshit.

No. Hip hop will kill itself.

No if anyone is hurting hip hop it's the fans for buying garbage and making it acceptable. Support local hip hop!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hip hop was killed by the new age rappers.
Crank up the radio-Play some Biggie, Tupac, Run DMC, Young MC, Jay Z, and just listen to the lyricz. This is when people didn't rap about hoes, sex, and other gangsta crap.

i think its just the material coming up.kids dont listen to old school and like what they like,so you have sign whats selling

no hip hop is killing itself with being overly commerical and talking about how much @$$ them girls gots, pimpin ain't easy, and the like. it's not like old school hip hop that used to talk about social issues.

he changed the direction of hip hop but he didn't kill it.. he changed the previous hip hop to the "real" or "old" hip hop while the new stuff today is much more different and could have its own category

people who buy garbage records kill hip hop, because then up and coming artists try and imitate the garbage, while the skillful artists are never heard.

If hip hop should die before i wake ill put an extended clip inside my AK roll to every station mur*** the dj. Hip hop is not dead, and the only thing puffy did was make money and have young people vote. If anything is hurting it is people thinking puffy is hip hop. BET and MTV do much more harm.

No hip hop is being killed by people like Soulja boy and people that think he has hip hop talent!!

Not fair at all...

It wasn't one person (especially not diddy) it was hundreds of snap groups and people only rapping about how much money they have.
