In the OPINION of R&P regulars - Should I send a MAIL to EACH of my 183 contacts!

Question: to inform them that the name change to "John" is more or less PERMANENT and that "Right On gets a vio 4 every Q" will no longer be used???
AND that a cartoon avatar is likely the NEXT change???

This is only my opinion, so it shouldn't be taken too seriously, but I've never been a huge fan when regulars make drastic name changes. It's like when Marshall Fields decided to become Macy's, a move that pissed off the entire city of Chicago. People don't like when established brand names change. I feel the same way when regulars change names like underwear. You likely don't have to send the e-mail since most should be able to figure it out.

It's your free time, John. Use it as you will.

didn't you just ask this question in P&S?
and yes you should.

I wouldn't worry about informing everyone through email...besides, everyone is going to see your question and be aware of the change. Not to mention, as long as you change your name and then your picture during seperate times, everyone will still be able to recognize you. Now if you changed your name to John AND changed your avatar at the same time, then I think it's fair to say that we would all be lost...or at least I would lol.

EDIT: Just taking a stab at this but I'm assuming that he posted this question in both R&P and P&S because he frequents both pages....

You asked this question in P&S.

I'm not one of your contacts, so I won't get an e-mail. However, I think I'll figure it out. =)

naaaaaa, i can usually tell who someone is by the answer once i get to know who they are...

I think these questions should do the trick.

I'm reading this right now so you don't have to send me anything....thanks though for thinking about me luv!

i got the message!

i think that this question is enough, but it's a good idea to do something, because i can never figure out who my contacts are when they change their names!

Woah, real mail? That would be like $75 for just the stamps! E-mail would be effective, but you have a very noticable style of question and answer so I think they would know it was you without you even telling them. Plus this question has saved you the trouble.

can i be a contact, please, i a big fan of yours.

*Reads the question*

Nope, still didn't get the message, email away!

Sure... go for it.
(I have no idea what you're talking about)

Edit: If you're well known, take it slow so people still can tell it's you. I mean, most will figure it out, but there are a lot of dumbasses on this website ^^^^....

The little voices tell me whatever you do is fine with me!

If you have the time, process the grime.

(I can just picture the most random caricature . . . )

I think this oughta do it.

Wow I must be the laziest person ever. I wouldn't have even considered doing that. Your contacts get a notice when you ask a question, and see when you have starred something. I wouldn't sent them all emails, I am sure they will figure it out.

Just do whatever you want, you don't have to send them all emails.
Please, no cartoon, you look just fine.

They will find out if they have half a brain.. dont worry bout it.

Hi John..
I agree with Sookie, all Your contacts should be able to catch the drift from reading this.

Nah, don't worry about it. I started off as King Arthur, seriously... even asked and answered a few questions as a guy. Why???? Why the hell not?! Because I can! There are no rules against it! Who would know anyway??? It was fun! capiche?
