Tool, APC, Foo fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Beatles (definitely not Metal...more pop-rock), The Doors, The Byrds, the Kinks, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Chevelle, Seether, Breaking Benjamin....and way, way more
Tool, APC, Metallica, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana and Pink Floyd are all great bands, but the rest of those bands ( Save some of Alice in Chains older stuff) are just idiots who dug in for shock value. The minute I saw Disturbed on this list, you lost all of my respect.
The great thing about the aforementioned bands is that they are all unique and their style stems from an eclectic taste. You CANNOT say that about disturbed or Godsmack. If you want to listen to some intelligent "Rock" and some REAL metal go underground. Sorry, it's true.
BLACK LABEL SOCIETY IS NOT REAL METAL! Take a look at bands like Converge, or if you're like "Reaper" start with bands like Napalm Death.
BTW, you should have the beatles and Queen up there. They are a must for everyone. Listen to "Bohemian Rhapsody"...or listen to "Eleanor Rigby".
There is SOOOOO much you haven't discovered. I mean, you still listen to disturbed. This isn't the nineties. This isn't the time to"Listen to a band because they wear all black like me teehee."

you love some awesome music...and whoever said zakk wyldes BLS isnt real rock is a ****.... they play anything from paino songs to classic to heavy metal...! i suggest Pride and Glory...zakk wyldes old band...its mainly heavy rock with some bluesy sound....!
