What is a good city in America for a progressive rock band?!
Question: Hey,
My band plays progressive, classical-music-infused hard rock, most similar to Queen, Muse, or even Queens of the Stoneage.
We are in Dallas, TX, but that is a bad town for a band like us - the only places to play are blues bars and, like, "Texas" bars where they always have some classic rock or blues rock band and no one really likes our style. And other than that, there's the hardcore thrash metal places but they don't like us either because we don't scream and growl all the time.
Where would be a good city to go where more people accept a modern rock sound? Or if you know of a good place to play at in the Dallas area where people are ready for us, that would be even better.

You have a smooth sound. A lot of great bands made it big
