Can You Stand The Rain?!
Question: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHgtE5rwE...
Every so often, you "rediscover" a song that you had long since forgotten. I heard this song today for the first time in at LEAST a decade, and remembered how much I really love it. This song is, to me, not only the best that New Edition ever recorded, but one of the best songs that the R&B genre has ever produced.
A) When's the last time you "rediscovered" a song, and what was it?
B) Seriously, how can you NOT love this song?

Some of these people aren't reading the details to this question.
[A] -"Immigrant Song" -Led Zepplin
[B] Yes! The song is really, really good.
i would go with (a)
I love the rain normally when it rains hard.
I can, just not against my window.

A. The last time I rediscovered a song, it was "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. Horrible song, but it is _the_ first song I remember ever hearing via a tape my sister had. I heard it a couple months ago on Myspace, and it just made me laugh. A couple months before that was Young MC's "Bust A Move"
B. I liked it. Great rhythm. I've always been more a funk man though.
normally i love the rain to much, becoz l like so much,
i dance,jump,run while raining..
I know what you mean, I watched the wall on the hd movie channel tuesday night. It had been at least 10 years since I heard most of those songs.
I love music, so when you take me back to this era, I start thinking about "You're the only one I want to slow dance with." I think a lot of it might be memories that you have that are related to the song - not necessarily the quality of the song itself. For Example, my favorite grocery store is called Ultra Foods. The aisles aren't all that well-defined, and there are never enough checkers for the amount of customers. But I grew up going to Ultra Foods, and going in there reminds me of my childhood. I love the store, not because it's so great, but because of great memories that I have connected to it. It's the same thing with some of these songs, like "Slow Dance" for me.
Good stuff Deke!!
A) I just recently rediscovered Bananarama's " I Heard a Rumor"
B) I love 80s music, all of it.
