What are some good licks, techniques, songs by John Frusciante?!
Question: These should be for an intermediate guitarist
Answers: These should be for an intermediate guitarist
Frusciante is not a technical player and most of his stuff is quite easy to play. He has a huge chord vocabulary and thats something you should work on. Scar Tissue is easy as is Californication and are a good place to start. Under The Bridge is another great song with some great chords and is always a good party piece to have under your belt.
His greatest strenghts are as a rhythm player, either his fast riffing funk technique or his Hendrix inspired chordal work. He's not a brillant lead player, as he admits himself, but when he solo's he generally stays within the major, minor and pentatonic scales patterns and boxes.
if u mean his solo stuff........the past recedes is pretty much basic chords......with fairly easy rhythm
yay john!!! JOHN IS MY FAVORITE GUITARRIST EVER!!!
umm email me rephrasing the question i dont really get what exactly you want to know :P
