My opinion;Bobby Bare
Hank Snow. I was in the cave a few minutes ago. That was a long half hour I survived without it. Had to deal with all the TS, CU, and RF questions.
Each version has it's own good points.But as for the major artist that have recorded it I have to go with the haunting sounds of Bobby Bare.
I said major artist because there was a blind singer in a little bar in Panama City Beach that could really make you beleive he was lost in the cave.
