Do you like Insane Clown Posse? Help!?!
Question: I am really, really confused about the draw to Insane Clown Posse. Is this group just for people who are bored and have no exposure to other "music", is their music and style appealing to a lot of kids, or just those on heavy duty drugs?
I think I'd be hard pressed to find a clean and sober straight A kid who likes them... am I wrong?

I happen to be a clean and sober kid who makes A's and B's and I like the Insane Clown Posse. I think they're funny. I'm 17 and have been listening to them for about 2 years. While they're music does lack a lot of substance, some of it is actually quite good. Check out "Toy Box" or "Joker's Wild". They have a good sense of humor, however morbid it is. =D

Certain music goes with certain people. You don't have to understand it, but if you really want to know, try hanging out with the people that listen to it.
Most people like music because they can relate to it. So if people are listening to ICP, its probably because of the beats, or the words that get them moving.
No, actually I really despise them more than MCR or FOB. Give me a broken guitar and I could play better music than they could ever make. And, I wouldn't be a douche, like them of course.

Yes, totally. My boyfriend of three years makes all A's, is a state champion athlete, and has never used alcohol or drugs. The draw for him is that he is extremely poor, he's grown up in an abusive household and has been mistreated verbally and physically by the rich kids who don't know how hard his life is for years. The idea that other people lead difficult lives and understand the challenges presented to someone who's life is made difficult by people in a position of power and wealth is incredibly comforting to him. You ought not to steriotype so much, it seems ignorant and insensitive.
I've heard some songs by them, but I don't really like them. A lot of the songs are too violent or negative.
What I've always wondered is if any women ever liked them... Like, you know how popular rappers and singers usually get a lot of female company, well, I just can't see that happening for the Insane Clown Posse.
You're right, though, clean straight A or even B students probably haven't heard of, or don't like them much.
lol i guess i can see your point. i only like one song by them: "Rainbows 'N Sutff" because it makes me laugh... and i'm a sober, clean, straight person. i dont make A's thou... lol

The thing is some music is for the loud and anger in society. It a way of bonding with like minded people.
I can remember in a past life of mine screaming at the top of my lungs "I am an anti-Christ" from Anarchy In UK by the Sex Pistols. Some music soothes the savage beast, other tunes let the beast rage.
Ive been sober for a very long time but I still think they are awsome.

WHO HERE A JUGALO/ET. but i only drink a little occasionaly and i have a 3.48 g.p.a they are awesome just cool music i guess and look at all the people who said they suck it's somewhat of a rebellious thing no one likes them and those who do feel awesome because ,they don't really know how to say it, unique.
