I know everyone has already said it, but do drink plenty of water at all times during the day. But what they might not have told you is to drink luke-warm water (water that has been kept at room temperature) As a singer you never want to drink ice cold water because it actually freezes up your vocal chords (puts them in a state of shock so to speak) and you definitely dont want that. Also be sure that you dont over-sing. No matter how much water you drink all day if you sing way too much it will dry them out no matter what. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions!

drink plenty of water..

On average singers should be drinking at least 64oz of water a day. You should adjust this based on your size, and the climate you're in. If it's hot, or dry, or both, drink more. If you're not already doing this, you should start.

You should also make sure you're not exhaling too much air when you sing. You'll need an experienced vocal coach to listen to you and tell you if you are singing in a safe way.

I've got a band
and i could tell you that if your throat gets dry you should drink a bottle of water at day and a cup of green tea at day,it's the best thing to do

Drink honey...it helps alot. Also I would reccomend honey-lemon halls an hour to 30 minutes before you start warming up. And ofcourse make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Also the enviroment may be affecting you. Are you recording in a very dry, dusty area. If you are singing in a booth, is it properly ventilated? Are you possibly allergic to something in the room? Things to consider...

try deep breathing exercises and also, let your voice come out from your diaphragm, not through your throat so as not to strain your voice.

yes. This has already been said plenty of times, but you need to drink A LOT of water every single day. I myself drink about one of those giant bottles of Smart Water about every day. Also, warm liquids help. not anything like Hot Chocolate because that just helps to make your voice more slippery because of all the sugar, but things like Tea and other non-sugary warm things can help alot. I know that they do for me.
