Wu Tang 8 Diagrams Weak?!
Question: Was anyone let down by 8 Diagrams? I know Wu has been weak lately, but this CD confirmed that the Gods as a group are dead. Please give me your opininons.

I cant say it was one of their best works...I think that they were trying hard to get that old WU sound back...But I think that was a failure...Maybe die hard Wu fans bought into it...but to me it was about as good as the W. I dont think theyre dead I just think they need to do something fresh...Ghostface album was better then the 8diagrams..dat all

RZA brought it on the production...if anything, what was really surprising is that it can be argued that Meth was the best with the rhymes though. But, even with all the inner turmoil going on, the Wu is still alive. I wasn't let down - what let me down was that Iron Flag ish
8 Diagrams was by no means wack. It was a solid album, and standing alone is one of the greatest albums of 07. The problem is, people are trying to compare it to the rest of Wu's albums. This album was in a completely different musical direction than Wu's fans are used to hearing (largely due to RZA). Method Man still has the same passion he had on 36 Chambers, even U-God came hot this time. If people would see the fact that Wu-Tang is growing musically, and expanding as a group, they would realize that Wu is still at it, and did not make a weak album at all...
People are comparing it to their classics, of course it wouldn't be that good, but the album is crazy,obviously not as good as Enter the Wu-Tang 36 Chambers, but still crazy.
