Barry white tracks...good for those slow burns.

Something high energy is what you need! I would go for the following:

Smack My B*tch Up - The Prodigy
Closer - Nine Inch Nails
Born Slippy - Underworld
Mississippi Queen - Mountain

Moby has a good rhythm and a calming melody in a lot of his songs.

"Let's Get High"- Lords Of Acid
"Take Control"- Lords Of Acid
"A Drug Against War"- KMFDM

There's your 10 minutes!

Bicycle by Queen

I try to use something up beat.

I have

Black eyed peas - Pump it
Pink - leave me alone I'm lonely
Queen - Don't stop me now
Ashlee Simpson - Boyfriend

All cheesy stuff like that really!!!

Started watching TV programmes on my ipod touch now though, it really makes the time go quicker when watching something like friends or family guy!

Another tip - I always cover the time up on the cross trainer or treadmill with my sweat towel, if I don't I'm constantly watching it and it seems to take forever!!
I try to position the towel so that I can see the amount of calories burned but not the time elapsed, seems to help!!

inagardaofeda by iron butterfly, the extended version with the drum solo it's about 13 to 15 mins roughly, the song is so freaky weird you'll forget your on a cross trainer
