Will 80's style rock & pop ever come back?!
Question: I was thinking that it would be cool if some old bands came back or if some newer bands started playing in that '80's style. I hope so, you know how these trends tend to come back every other decade or so.

I hope it does too. The 80's style music was far out (you can even tell I like stuff from that era from the way I talk, lol). It was lively, spectacular, and it had a lot of meaning. I'm glad to know that someone else feels the same way.
I will tell you that I have seen a sign of it coming back. My favorite singer Ashlee Simpson just sang an 80's style song called "Out of My Head." It's great.

yeah, i know what you mean. i love 80's music. i miss it but i still can catch it on radio but yeah, the music then was just everything. i grew up with it. today i am 43 years old, and i still love the 70's and 80's music.

Not a big fan of 80s music, but I'd love to see more bands like Jet who are throwbacks to classic rock of the 60s and 70s.
I sure hope so! Especially in the Metal scene. This "Growling" and playing in Eb throughout the entire album is getting old! Back in the 80's people could actually sing.
I LOVE 80'S ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! I grew up with the likes of Motley Crue, Bon Jovi, Poison, etc... and as much as I still love the music I don't want to see it come back because they won't do the justice to it that it deserves!!!!!
