Question: Because some types of guitars have different tones and sound then others. Also They might set up one guitar to have the right sound for one song and the other for the next, its just faster then having to re tune everything between songs.

Possibly because the next song he was doing needed a different guitar.
Different sounds, maybe different tuning, or the one they are playing might go out of tune, could be lots of things. Some change guitars a lot, some don't. I saw Clapton in concert in '01. He played the same guitar all night, but Andy Fairweather Lowe changed on almost every song.
