Are you stuck in a time warp?!

Question: and do you find it hard to find new bands to listen to?

Answers: and do you find it hard to find new bands to listen to?

Yes I am stuck in a time warp to some degree. While I am aware of the many cool underground type bands of today, my preference is bands of the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Music has basically been regurgitating itself in one form or another for many years now...and in many cases, the newer stuff seems to only appeal to those who are easily impressed, or that don't know any better.

No, i'm good at finding good new music.

first concert 1971=allman brothers band current fav- white stripes

Yes. I am stuck in a 70's time-warp when rock giants such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones and the Eagles ruled. It is just harder to find a really good band nowadays that really matters. That a lot of people can listen to, relate and enjoy on a universal level.

Really, name one good band lately that could sell out an outdoor stadium like Shea Stadium. Someone that started out within the last 7 years?

Ahhhh, now you get the picture.

Good question. Thanks!

well i would have to say.....in a way
...im in love with some older bands, their music and lyrics are a little more depth but i really love current bands too because they bring fresh approaches and newer tunes
im always open for new music
..but you'll always find some 60's 70's 80's or 90's music on my ipod!

(:

no and no. i go to lots of concerts. mostly local.

Most music these days just sounds like bands that they look up to. Nothing is really original or that inspiring these days
