Image over talent in music?!

1. people LISTEN to music not look at it
2. take Aretha Franklin for example. shes a big lady but when she starts singing shes like a goddess
3. if you look good but dont have any talent (like american idol) you wont get very far in a musical career

nobody cares about talent in the music world, Avril lagvine can not sing live its just her image that everyone loves, miley cyrus cant sing either they just advertised and played her music eveywhere (hype) she sucks everybody cares about looks and dazzle not real talent so you have to switch your paper around
Music is suppose to be about what you feel and expressing yourself. If you only rely on your looks and image you will not last long, your going to be just another 15 seconds of fame wannabee, and probably will get made fun of.
ahhh.....video killed the radio star???? it used to be your voice that sold a "record" now its a video, promotions, managers, agents....tabloids....
why is talent more important than looks.....the same reason the spice girls didnt last....the reason that boybands are a punchline....when your in your car or home or club you cant dance to the good looks....sensationalism is only good for a laugh and 15 minutes of fame

-if they dont have talent people wont like them, and wont reccommend them to their friends
-talent is what gets you initially noticed by a recording studio
-if you really put your heart into it, and love what you do, then you will create something that people really want to listen to
is your mom a musician? if so, think about how ugly and fat she is, yet how she still has talent. even better, bring her in to perform in your class...naked...if you know where i'm headed...
