First, you need to learn how to sing properly. You're putting way too much pressure on your vocal cords. You should really be using the breathing technique through your stomach... that'll help you become "louder" and "softer" without killing your vocal cords.

Basically, you should really work on "prevention" rather than "treatment". It'll be better for you in the long run. If you don't, you will end up with bumps on your vocal cords and you will be limited in the ability to sing. Trust me on this..

drink lots of water, hum occasionally so you can get your voice warmed up.

Drink plenty of water!

Don't try to sing a whole bunch more. Just let your voice rest. Usually when that happens it just means your vacal cords are worn out. What i do is get a lemon or lime, and just a little bit of salt. Suck the juice out of it.

It would benefit you to take some private voice lessons and learn to sing properly. Keep that in mind.

For now, rest your voice. Don't sing, talk, yell, or whisper. Save your voice. Make sure you eat good meals and keep yourself hydrated. Get a good night's sleep. Before going to bed, drink some hot tea (preferably not a dark tea nor a tea with caffeine) with honey to soothe your throat a bit. Before your audition tomorrow, warm up with some vocal exercises and hum through your piece; don't overdo it, though.

drink lots of water and dont overuse your voice. rest and use your voice as little as posible before your audition
