Do you think CRS's album will be any good?!
Question: for those who don't know CRS (Child Rebel Solider) is Kanye, Lupe and Pharrell.
Just wanna see what other people think about the Super group.
I like the 3 of them (even though Pharrell's beats haven't been up to par lately) but I just don't know about all of them together doing an entire album.
But does sound interesting.

It depends, if CRS's album is like US placers it should be real nice.
I am worried though that Kanye and Pharell will "overdo" it as far as production goes, I really like the US Placers beat and I would like to see a production style that highlights the 3 MCs more so than the beats. It should be an interesting project, I think the alternative tip won't necessary jump-off but I bet they pull it together. Kanye's ego wont let them release anything that's too wack. I think it should be a good effort, I don't expect it to be Lupe's or Kanye's best lyrical efforts (cuz they can't just run with their own style) but it might bring out the best of Pharell...
Imo, it could either be one of the best produced albums this year (come on now, with so many legends slated to release albums, I doubt Kanye, Lupe, and Pharell have it in them to pull of upsets against people like MF Doom + Ghostface, Nas, Del, Raekwon, Rakim, and many others) or it could completely blow like Pharells solo debut.
I think it's gonna be hard for those guys to miss though - Lupe, Pharell, and Kanye are all ill with the beats, and Lupe is an above average rapper, so I don't see how these guys don't release a good one.
from the two songs that I've heard, I think CRS's album will be pretty good...I don't think those three guys would allow the album to be bad

I think with Kanye, and not Pharrell, doing the beats it should be pretty dope with the three providing verses.
I think itll be off the hook
