Am I a true AFI fan if I only own 3 of their albums?!
Question: They're the best albums I've ever heard but I don't like their older stuff at all. Would I still be considered an AFI fan?

hey buddy its ok that you only on 3 albums, i would suggest that you buy more to support them. I mean december is hat got me hooked around a year ago and no i own everything they did after, and including, black sails.
As long as you like some of their music, then I would consider you an AFI.
as long as u kno a lot of the songs by heart. im a MCR fan and i don't own any cds. but i have their music on my ipod. ;)

But, really how much you like them.
You dont have to own anything from the band to be a fan. Usually i will only buy stuff directly from the band at a show instead of dropping cash at a retail place.

I only wouldn't consider you a fan if your favorite song was Miss Murder. Just like I don't consider people KISS fans when there favorite song is Rock and Roll All Nite.
And if you own 3 albums by the band, your obviously a fan. If you weren't fan, why would you buy the albums?

YEs i own decemeberunderground and then blakq audio's cex cells, and yet i made a relegion of their one song *NOTE I HAVE HEARD ALOT OF THERE STUFF THOUGH IN FACT RIGHT NOW IM LISTENING TO GIRLS NOT GREY*
their sound changed a lot after they sold out, so if you dont like it, you dont like it
heck yes of course you can still be a fan i only own 2 of their cd's and one of them is Decemberunderground so you dont hafta own all of their cd's to be a fan
You would be a fan.. but not a HUGE fan. Funny thing is most people like there older stuff more than there newer stuff.
