Both are good, i prefer listening to bearded sweaty men like Lemmy shouting down a microphone to be honest, but if you look at some of the rappers out there they are really talented, I'm not talking freestyle either, to remember all the words on a live set would be difficult because all they have to go buy is a beat. It's easier for a singer to remember the lyrics but it also requires a powerful voice and being able to use it to good effect. i'd have to say rap though depressingly because they think more about the words/lyrics where as all you get in R&B songs etc is wailing banshees who want to be mariah carey. I know i'm being skeptical seeing as i like bands like slipknot but eh, rap takes more talent

depends on which song you're singing

singing definitely! anyone can speak to a beat, but not everyone can sing.

singing because it is better and eaiser also cooler

singing because i don't really like rap

I perfer singing to rap!!!

Singing i think rapping takes no talent, but singing does

i personally like singing. but music is all about different perspectives so i dont think either is necessarily better just different...

singing, rap is talking with rythem, singing you have to throw your voice so it actually has some talent

Rapping. Almost anyone can sing a tune, but rapping, it takes a lot of skill...

This is a bad question. rap expresses feeling in the most basic styles: speaking out. singing does the exact same thing, just in a different way. each has it's complexities, it's strengths, it's weaknesses, so it's like asking which is better a better sport: soccer or football: it's completely subjective

Rap is not music or singing, more of a shouting or yelling in ryhme. Most of it is unintelligible, and if it is, it is often profane. Singing has been around since history began. Rap is some new crude way to make money.

umm well i prefer singing. I sing too and its so much fun and its beautiful to listen to someone singing but its fun to listen to someone rap. Its really a personal choice.

singing all the way. singing actually takes talent.

singing shows off the voice, but rap shows how fast your mouth can move, i personally like singing better but that is just my preference.

I like rap but I prefer good singing.

SInging by a mile. Rap is just talking. What kind of a question is that?
