Question: It depends on the venue, most likely no. Just take what you need. I usually try and sneak a camera in if I can or use a camera phone.

You'd probably have to call them and ask. Better to leave it at home than risk the chance of it being stolen.
That depends on the the venue that you're going to. I would check out the venue's site [if they have one] and see what their policy is on that. I know some places will let you, but not all.
