Um, not really? I'm not sure what you're asking entirely,
but the strings on a guitar are traditionally tuned eadgbe, the bass has less strings, tuned eadg. There are six string basses, tuned beadgc.
Well, the guitar has 6 strings and the bass has 4. The guitar string's tunings are EADGBE, and the bass tunings are EADG.
As the guy above said, the electric bass has the same 4 lower strings as the guitar: E, A, D, G.
The notes on them are the same, but an octave lower... so the fingerings on those strings are the same as those for guitar.
