We are starting a band. HELP???!

but practice make sure it's good
don't try too hard
try to connect with your audience
don't stand still
move around
and have fun
If you have demos or CD'S that you and your band recorded you can sell your CD'S before and after your concert performance. Its great for marketing and making money if you're unsigned and independent.
EDIT: What genre of music do you guys play? I would love to possibly attend a concert when you guys perform possibly this summer when I visit the Philippines again.
EDIT: If thats what you like and you band name likes then it should be a good name for you guys. After all you are all a team right? :)
-Oh yeah another tip, make a Myspace.com account and upload some songs to advertise you band globally and worldwide to increase you fanbase and to be more well known.
get a myspace for your band and put music on it and wait to get discovered mean while get yourself out there perform at local malls etc
tottally be urself just rock out!!!
and make sure not to look to poser but keep it real dont over dress and be very confident in urselves go on with an open mind!
Practice makes perfect, just play your heart out up there!

DONT be posers!!! Be yourselfs. Let yourselfs have fun and relax!!!!!! Im also a drummer and dont over do it on the fills. Also make sure all the drums are secure to the floor so they dont fall.
just this, have your ax case modified to hold 2 pints, and a bag or so, and never look at anobody while playing.
Get a MySpace or PureVolume.
the first thing u do is get instruments that includes a gutiar an amp a bass a bass amp a drumset a mike and a mike stand, u need to get an abandoned garage or just a room in your house or someone elses to practice, look for signs on bars or restaurants or just music shop that says open mic tonight, after you have practiced alot then u should go in and play and it will be your first gig
