anything country. if you go into singing r&b and pop and try rapping or something like that, you won't sound as good. Country is easy to sing. i am only 17 years old but i started singing when i was 3 and i have been winning talent shows and singing solos in school since i was 5 so i know what i'm talking about when i say go with country. if you want to later on, you can maybe switch it up and try some pop, like christina aguilera or even something as simple as "baby one more time" by britney spears. but one thing to watch out for...don't over excert your voice. don't sing for long periods of time until you become used to singing. it can strain your vocal chords. well if you want anymore advice, email me or instant message me or something, ok? good luck and i hope my advice was useful to you.
believe it or not...any keyshia cole song is easy to sing cus u can get loud and still sound great....monica`s songs (any) are great too

Depends what kind of music you want to get into. If you want to sing more of a pop/rock thing, here is my opinion:
I would suggest songs off of the Meet Miley Cyrus CD, not the Hannah Montana ones...the Miley ones. The reason is because Miley doesn't seem to have that wide of a vocal range so the songs she wrote herself are easier to sing because of her vocal range being so limited. The Hannah Montana songs don't bother with because they pitch up Miley's voice on the CD so no human can hit all of those notes...well they could, but Miley definitley can't.
So go with Miley just to start off.
