Radiohead - best and worst albums?!

Question: I hate to say this, but after recently purchasing In Rainbows, I have pretty much come to the conclusion that it's one of their more disappointing albums. I have given it a chance for a couple weeks now and it's just not smothering me with bliss like it should.

What albums by Radiohead are your absolute favorite, and what albums do you wish could've been better?

My absolute favorite is always a constant battle between OK Computer and Kid A. OK Computer has their overwhelming theme that is impossible not to relate to and it has some of their most "assessable" pieces, while not compromising the quality. Climbing Up the Wall, Let Down, Electioneering, let Down and No Surprises is mind numbingly amazing. Kid A's more on the experimental side, but in a nice way. it's very unique but has this whole atmosphere that's carried throughout the album in a really haunting kind of way.

Worst has to be Pablo Honey. it's an okay album, but it's terrible for Radiohead. It's terribly mediocre, amateur and trivial. There's nothing on it that suggest that they are this amazing innovative band that refuses to conform with the mainstream norms. It sounds like any other alternative album from any other alternative band. Mediocrity does not look good on Radiohead. though Blow Out was a really nice closing.

well obviously OK Computer is the best musically and lyrically...Hail and Pablo Honey are both great...Im stuck on In rainbows right now and its definitely leaning on the couldve been better side

I don't know how much you'll value my opinion because I think 'In Rainbows' is one of their best, but, for me, I'd say 'Kid A' is their best. 'OK Computer' is pretty darn good too, but I dare say it runs a bit too long.

I tend to think 'Pablo Honey' is their worst, but I'll give that a pass since it is their first album. I think 'Amnesiac' could've been a lot better than it was. Probably the one I listen to the least.

The Karma Police single will always have a soft spot in my heart. :)

I haven't had a chance to check out their new album, but my friend Tim did a review on the album for my Creative Writing class and he said he was greatly dissapointed.

best - 'Kid A'
worst - rainbow... i think they are pretentious !!!
