Unable to locate name/artist of an instrumental, please help!?!
Question: I heard a song on a smooth jazz station earlier this week, which happens to be a song I've been trying to locate for years. In the main part of the song, it has either a sax or trumpet as the lead instrument. When the "chorus" comes, the brass instrument gives way to a funk-type beat. I believe the instrumental was released in the late 70's/early 80's.
