I don't know if this is the group, but in the late 1980s or early 1990s, there was a group called Shai that was known to sing some of their songs acapella. One of their hits was entitled, "If I Ever Fall in Love". You can listen to the song for free on free.napster.com. The group is phenomenal. They are still recording or performing music.
I am trying to think of another group that had similar lyrics. If I am not mistaken, the song you may be referring to comes from the 1970s or 1980s decade.
I did research a group in the late 1950s that were called Jerry Carr and the Mello-Tones, and the song was entitled "I'll Never Fall in Love Again." Unfortunately, the group disbanded in the early 1960s.
