I'm from Fort Worth, Texas so my one true love among NBA teams is the Dallas Mavericks. And because of that, my favorite player is always going to be a Maverick. Dirk Nowitzki is most vital to the Mavs' success, so he's my favorite player.
If I had to pick a non-Mav as my favorite, it's probably be either LeBron James or Chris Paul. Two young guys who really understand the game, play it the right way and make are fun to watch.
