Singing is a passion of mine, but?!
Question: I have good confidense, and alot of family have told me I have a great voice. I have been singing since a little baby! I sing everday. The problem is I have NO idea what to do with it. I have to my mom repeadtly, that I want to be a singer and that I need an agent... but I just honestly don't think it's gonna happen.
What can I do?
Put my music on myspace,youtube?
Get an Agent?
Or what?

Do everything you can. That's how much it takes. Auditions, musicals, choirs, agents, post things online, do whatever you think would help. Just get yourself out there.
I'd say join a band and do musicals and such at your school.
Try out for American Idol when you come of age.
trying getting gigs at local resteraunts and town/city gatherings and building up your local rep. and then move from there. Best of luck! =D
Start a Christian worship band...
put it on youtube and join choirs and musicals
get local gigs,
get an agent,
make a demo and send it to record labels,
post your music wherever you can.
and most of all,
don't give up!

Well, hold on to that dream, but you've seen what happens to girls that get in to the music business too young (Britney Spears).
Get good grades, go to college for musical studies. Try out for American Idol but don't expect much, they've become so commercial.
Maybe if you don't become a famous singer, you can become a music teacher!
For now there isn't much you can do, except be in the choir at your school and try to get as many solos as possible. When you get to high school, try out for plays. Try to get yourself out there as much as possible so when you do get an agent, you'll have a good portfolio already.

I'm a singer too. :D And I have also told my mom many times that it is my dream and I need an agent, but she won't go for it. :) The best thing to do is get involved in your school's programs that involve singing, cause you never know, talent scout are everywhere! Another thing is to go to open auditions in your town for musicals and stuff like that, I know talent scouts go to those a lot! The best thing to do is obviously get an agent, but is kind of difficult and sometimes parents aren't in to it. Just do as many things that you can that might get you noticed.
