Coming from an R&B and Hip-Hop Listener, are there any good alternative(rock) or!
Question: I'm an avid R&B and Hip-Hop listener, but I do also extremely enjoy some Rock.
I hate the Metal and Screamo Rock, no Korn or Disturbed
and no Fall Out Boy or My Chemical Romance.
Maybe along the lines of:
Tegan and Sara
Ferras
The Rocket Summer

Boys Like Girls
James Morrison (Yes, James, not Jim.)
The Streets.

you could try the fratellies, scouting for girls and generally indie music? personally i like screamo and metal along with rock but i also like indie :)

You have mentioned some emo bands. I dont listen to that stuff much. But if u r coming from r&b/ hip hop u could try out incubus first. they have really nice lyrics, vocals, and cool guitar effects. also smashing pumpkins they use distortion to make some perfect rock songs that u can listen over and over. then u could try out a bit of led zeppelin. Alice In Chains are nice too.If u want something a bit noisy u can go for sonic youth, jesus and mary chain, and dinosaur jr. they have clean vocals with extremely noisy yet not metal guitars. sounds really nice. If u like rap u could 4 linkin park they have gr8 lyrics. once u get used to these i am sure u would like tool, neil young, soundgarden etc. do try incubus at least. particular the songs:
