What are the differences between soprano and baritone ukuleles?!

Question: Also, which is most common?

Answers: Also, which is most common?

There are quite a few differences:

- Size: Baritones are larger than soprano ukuleles.

- Pitch: Baritones are lower than the ukulele. The strings are tuned the same as the highest four strings of the guitar (DGBE). Sopranos are tuned five frets higher (GCEA).

- Strings: Baritone strings are arranged from low to high (as on a guitar). Soprano strings are re-entrant (they start high, go low, then back up again).

- Tone: Baritone ukuleles tend to be louder and have a deeper sound.

Sopranos are the standard ukulele size and are more common.

Soprano ukes are 21 in. long and play in a higher pitch. Baritone ukes are roughly 30 in. long

Soprano = high
Baritone= low

Not sure which is common though. Sorry.
