How About the Country Hall of Fame class of 2008?!
Question: Can you believe it? Pop Stoneman is finally going in the Hall of Fame!! Also going in this year will be the Statler Brothers, Tom T. Hall, and Emmylou Harris.
What do you think of the class of 2008? And, why do you think they announced it in February instead of in August? (My personal opinion: they wanted to separate the "traditional" country from modern country so the two don't clash during the CMA awards. You can't have play an Eagles song and call it 'country' then talk about Tom T. Hall. People are going to quickly realize they are NOT doing the same genre of music!)

I think they should have been in a long time ago. There are some that don't deserve the spot at all, but I won't even go there. Anyway, I'm glad they finally are getting their recognition.
Stoneman should have been in years ago!!
and the others should have been there before SOME of the others, (but I won't mention names) lol
