yeah sure, whammy bars/tremelos just unscrew or pull out anyway, i dont have one on my ESP Eclipse 2 or Gibson, not really much need for one for what i play though

Yeah you can but I wouldn't recommend it, i mean i have a fender strat and i play songs that work better on the gibson sg and the whammy bar is kinda a pain becasue it gets in the way. If you're gonna get a guitar and you're gonna spend a lot of money on it i say the Gibson SG but if your gonna get a guitar and not spend much on it get an Epiphone G400 its almost as good.
