What is your opinion on the band........MCR?!

My opinion on the band MCR is that they're one of the most undeserving of praise bands to ever exist among the new generation, my generation. Their lyrics are pointless, and random, and all talk about the same subject just as well as many other mainstream bands of today "love,boyfriend/girlfriend break ups,emos,and cutting." They lack talent,and passion in their instruments and music in general. Since they do not write their own music that is because they're mainstream like those other horrible bands, Fall Out Boy, Nickelback, Daughtry etc. Their fan base, adding to the more annoying hype of the band are one of the most immature,hostile,and lowly educated, brainwashed set of teeny boppers you'll ever meet. Threats of killing,hostile murder to those who refuse to like the band and try to torture others until they accept to like the band when they are unwillingly, in secret not. The band is overall most of the lowest lifeform of intelligence. They label theirselves "Metal" on their myspace which they are the farthest away from and have no connection to Metal, their lead singer (Gerald Way) say "emo is a pile of s*it" but yet they are Emo. How can their fans deny they are Emo? Which backs me up again on how dumb their fan base is. They ARE EMO. It shows in their lyrics,their fashion,and in their fan base.
I know better music. I will just stick to my better,unheard of music.

I think they are the New Kids on the Block & Backstreet Boys of this generation. If people want to listen to it fine, but I won't.

I agree. Their gimmicks are just bloody awful. Also, Gerard sounds like a girl when he sings. Not to mention they are a bunch of posers who care more about their looks than their playing abilities.
The only thing worse than them is their fans, no offence to any MCR fans. I just think that MCR fans need to stop ranting about that band as if they are the only rock band out there today. In truth, there are a million more rock bands that are better than MCR.

They are 'meh' to me I have no hate or love for them. They at least sound differnt from other filler bands on the radio.
i think they suck major ace! and it is very unfortunate that my sister is a fan of them , i have had to disown her!
I think they're a joke,the whole thing is a joke and they suck more than any band that ever sucked,they need to be beaten severly so they toughen up and act like men or just go play in traffic and just knock it off
I love MCR. I think they are a great band. I used to be OBSESSED OBSESSED with them. I am not anymore. I still love them so much! They had opened my eyes to other bands that I would not of listened to. :] People are entitled to not like them. I am pretty sure they are not the WORST band ever.

I really like them. They are actually my inspration, but I'm not saying that everybody needs to like them. I just really look up to them, and no, they didn't 'save my life'. Listening to them makes me happy, no matter what, but yeah. You may listen to whatever you want, but I, personally, love this band. May they rock forever!
They are badass. And the thing that I really don’t understand is- Why so many people are always bitching on them. I mean like come on, I know that people think that they can’t compare them to bands that existed in the past and are still being heard a lot ‘till now. But like… whatever. I don’t feel like arguing about it right now. But yeah, if you don’t want to listen to them, that’s fine with me. Just don’t keep messing with them. Bring on the thumbs down bitches!

i love 'em all to death. they're awesome, and all the thumbs down in the world couldn't change my mind. if music is so important to you, why don't you accept that there are bands that you're not gonna like but that are important to other people? why can't you understand that trashing them isn't going to make things better? I'm all about opinions but this is getting more annoying than those 'am i pretty?' questions.

I think that they are amazing but each to his own...I think you should read the lyrics before you judge them though
