Randy Rhoads Technique Questions for Electric Guitar Experts...?!

Question: I am a HUGE Randy Rhoads fan, I love all of his solos. While trying to learn some of his songs, there have been 2 specific things that I don't know how to do...

1) In his first solo for Mr Crowley, the squealing at 2:22-2:24 (in the video):

2) In his Outro Solo for the song Tonight, the "Distortion Squeal" at 5:11 in this video:

-I have no idea how to pull off these effects/techniques, and I was just wondering if anyone out there could shed some light on them for me...

It is known as a "pinch harmonic"..there are many different ways to pull this technique off...usually the pick and thumb hit the string ALMOST at the same time..giving you the note but harmonically(squeal)...For me I never really thought about making an effort to do the thumb thing,I usually just dig in hard and hammer on it,but my thumb DOES touch,so,,theres one way...there are no rules, but this way works pretty easily with practice.(DIME was one of the nastiest pinch harmonic "squealers",along with Gibbons ZZTOP,and of course Randy Rhoades)so there you go,practice and pretty soon you'll be squealing all over the neck..Get the pinch harmonic down, then add bends to it and vibrato to make it really scream....you were on the right path"distortion squeal" is a spot on description....Good luck, now go practice...GETCHA PULL!!

*******instead of playing your pinch harmonic dead center of a fret...play it closer to the next fret up(sounds different than played closer to lower fret) say instead of playing dead center of the 2nd fret...play it 2&3/4 of the way to third fret.....also where you pick the string has a HUGE difference of how the harmonic is voiced(closer to the neck vs closer to the bridge)

IDK but ...agreed, RANDY RHOADS ROCKS!

Google Randy Rhoades guitar techniques.

on the first one it sounds like he is doing pinch harmonics on the notes which just is when you pick the note hit the string lightly with your thumb, there is probably some insructional videos on youtube about it

on the second one if you mean right at 5:11 that is just feedback from the amp

edit:
im not really sure if he is using different pinch harmonic techniques it just sounds like he is bending the note multiple times while sqealing them each time, i pulled out the tribute album which i assume you have and on that part in the solo all he did was bend the note once instead of the multiple times, you could do what he did on that part, but once again im not sure what exactly he is doing

and for the feedback question i have no idea how to control fedback or anything, sorry
