"This song means so much to me, that's why we wanted it to be the first track on the album. The idea for this song came to me in math class. I just started singing to myself `When you think Tim McGraw.' The concept for this song hit me, because I was dating a guy who moved away, and it was going to be over for us. So I started thinking of things that I knew would remind him of me. The first thing that came to mind was that my favorite song is by Tim McGraw. After school, I went downtown, sat down at the piano, and wrote this with Liz Rose in fifteen minutes. It may be the best fifteen minutes I've ever experienced."

if you all actually would listen to the lyrics they arent about Tim Mcgraw at all, its about a young summer fling and she says when you HEAR Tim McGraw you'll think of my FAVORIT SONG, so its not about her thinking he's hot or anything like that its about young love
she's telling some boy in the song that when he hears that tim mcgraw song, he should think of her. it's not that she thinks tim is hot necessarily, that's not the point of the song. it's more publicity for him so big ups!

If I were an artist I'd feel honored to be mentioned in a song.
If I was Faith I would be highly annoyed with her, but it goes to show Taylor's immaturity, and lack of respect for someone elses husband....she has no respect for herself or anyone else....Also Tim should speak up and tell her to get a life.....women like this repulse me.....
