Rasputina hands down. the band continues to take my breath away. i was a soso fan, seeing them live has made me their music slave. the band near brought me to tears the last time. the only time i have ever sat on a club floor with strangers surrounding me.
Dresden Dolls, amanda got down from the stage and walked among the crowd. she was so close to me that i could see the design of her eyebrows. i was freakin blown out of the water.
i need to go to more concerts. i bet Flogging Molly is going to be just as good.
I've been to just about every concert under the sun and i have a very suprising answer. it might have been my mood more than anything but i'm getting older. pushing 30 and no longer as young as the rest of the kids in my punk rock mosh pits. i remember seeing 'old' thirtysomethings in my mosh pits when i was a kid...they looked a bit funny and out of place.
when offspring came on at the last warped tour i went to (i had been to 11out of12 warped tours when they first started but have since missed the last few) it was near the end....i was at zero in my fuel tank...but it didn't matter. when "can't repeat" came on i was in the zone. it didn't matter that i was completely devoid of energy....i was in the middle of the mosh pit for that entire set.

i left the twilight of my youth that day in that mosh pit...i ran out of gas early on but kept dancing on fumes.
The Dead Boys concert at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit in 1979--there was a riot, and it was a good concert.
