While 8 mile and his Slim Shady persona and dated, I don't think you can call his music old school yet. If he put out a new cd, Eminem would probably be right back in the game. If we don't get any new music from Eminem, we can put him in the old school camp with Public Enemy, RunDMC, NWA, Tupac, Biggie, et al. Great question though.
In a way, it's not like many people listen to it nowadays. But then again, 4 years isnt exactly that oldskool now is it?

Eminem did not make music. He is a rapper. Rap is not music.

Yes unless he reinvents himself then people may go back to listening.
His last album was released in 2006, 18 months old is not old-school, unless perhaps you are 10 years-old. Plus the fact that he still produces for current artists. When you think that the hip-hop movement started in ~1980, you realise that a few years old is not old-school.

eminem isnt old school yet because hes still around and he wants to make music but its hard because he doesnt know what to do because his band D-12 lost one of there members in 04.do to gang violence.so they dont know if they will continue or not.

not yet - i can still hear alot of eminems influence in rap so until that stops i dont think of it as old skool.
